Wood Fire

One of the things I enjoy during the colder months is sitting around an outdoor wood fire. It feels very primal and satisfying.

Some people have told me that they don’t enjoy a fire when it is too cold outside. I think that’s funny. They just need a bigger fire.

What I don’t like is the smell of smoke that lingers for days. Of course a shower gets it off the skin and hair but then you realize that every article of clothing you were wearing will smell of smoke till you clean them.
