Autumn

Fall (or autumn) is my favorite season of the year. This is primarily because as a person who prefers cooler weather to warm weather, fall signals the end of the seemingly relentless heat and humidity of summer.

The other reason I love fall is that I really enjoy watching the foliage turn colors from various shades of green to a wider range of red, orange and yellow.

Of course it is going to get cold and dark soon. The trees will drop their leaves. And the outdoors will no longer be inviting.

But for a few weeks, it is blissful.
