Advent of Gemlogs
This is the time of the year when all kinds of Advent calendar themed daily challenges pop up. Usually December is not a good time for me to participate in them due to time constraints from a combination of end of year work related activities, travel and hosting guests. In fact when I took up the “Advent of Code” challenge a few years ago, I chose to do it in a different month altogether.
However I want to give it a shot this year. I am going to try to write a gemlog post daily for 24 consecutive days. After all some believe that it takes 21 repetitions to form a habit. And I have been wanting to write regularly for a while now.
These are the rules I am setting for this challenge.
- A post should be written every single day. No cheating allowed by skipping days and making up by doubling up on other days.
- There is no limit on the minimum number of words in a post but each one should comprise a complete idea that an average person should be able to understand.
I am kicking off the challenge with this post. Here’s to 23 more!
